Hi again guys.
I now have another pj with g2 issues, one of the tube is overdriven and the raster is too bright with the G2 lines exposed.
it is all in the neckboards, after swapping all boards, from smps to G2 diagnostic boards,it narrowed down to the neck boards.
It followed wherever the tube this neck board connects to.
There is a trimpot on the neck board for Gain adjustments with a test point, is this safe to fiddle with?
What should be the voltage?

Hello,
No there is no user adjustment to do on this board. There is no reason they have shifted, you risk more to mess them up.
If you have electronic knowledge, you can find the on this forum the 909 service manual. But very usually, when a 909 neck fail, this is because of the hybrid chip which is unrepairable...

thanks Rob,
I was hoping it is not the neck board. Yes i do have the manual, and a tech person close by. He is old school as can be.
i was hoping it is somewhere on the RGB driver section.
