I have tried both the remote and the buttons on the tv. Still nothing. I also checked the outlet with a lamp and it works fine, Any suggestion?

Does the Vizio logo light up at all? Amber or white?

Then I would next suggest you test the power supply. Hopefully you have some knowledge of testing. I have attached a video that easily shows how to test the supply. The VX and VW use the same supply but they also had a different one. Hopefully this is the same as yours. Just be careful testing when powered as you don't want to get shocked.Let me know how you make out.

I own a Vizio VW32lhdtv10a 32" TV, My trouble shooting skills are at best rusty ....The TV has no picture or sound the vizio logo turns amber then white and back to amber ,there is a light (back light ) that comes on when the TV is turned on ,you cannot shut off the TV with the switch, you have to unplug the unit. I have done the best of my ability checked the power supply outputs, and I believe they test ok,all voltage seems present as discussed in the video ! So what is the next step in trouble shooting this TV? BTW,Everything looks good on the P.S.and on the main board, nothing burnt or bulging ! I want to try to fix this if I can,but I don't really need the TV it's just a winter project ,I have a 46" Samsung that quit also that has bad caps and thats another story ....one basket case at a time ! TY Jim
