Very odd that they would all have a problem so lets look there first. Can you recheck voltage at pin 1 of each regulator. make sure you use D GND (or pin 3)for neg probe. they seem to have power, one i couldn't get a lead to one without disassembling, However on the cx122 and cx118 there is a voltage of 5.3V on pin 8 of cx122 (e power) BUT nothing on dpower pin 1 of cx118 or vpower pin12 of cx122 so it would seem that the triggers for the 3.3V circuits aren't working.

Ok, then I will need you to test all pins on CX118 and CX122 and give me those readings.

Your pin 3 on connector CX118 (scpu+5v) is only 2.0v. Should be +5v. Either there is a problem with the source turn on circuit or something is pulling down that voltage. You need to disconnect that line somewhere and see if the voltage comes up. Is it a harness that is connected to CX118 or is it snapped to another board?

Its a small connector board that goes between two vertical facing boards. I'll have to see where those interconnects go. I agree 2.0V seemed odd too

Thank you so much for replying so fast! yes, I get a menu on the front display just nothing on hdmi out or in. I will test the other analog inputs later as well as digital audio. I will also check the triggers per your rec to Jeremy last year and post the results. Im hoping its not the hdmi board which is hard to get replaced but something in the 3.3V power circuit to it that is fixable.
I would add too that I have not being able to update the firmware it shows sbeing stuck at 82mins - if interupted with up/down and poweing on shows an error (which from the service guides says
① Sub-μcom NG No response from Sub-μcom " □ SUB □□ ERROR □01□ " Hy. I have the same problem. How did u fix it?

SCPU5V- 3 pin from cx118 goes to cw159 pin 14 cw159 it's on hdmi board after me the trigger - SCPU5V it's on hdmi board and if he don't have 5v , cx028 and cx027 (power for hdmi) don't have 3.3v scpu5v it's from the tr715 and tr714 (on the schematics isn't write the type of the 2 tranzistors, i must watch on the board 1U 3084-2 ). the trigger for the tr715 it's the pin 14 from the main cpu.(main cpu unit) please help me to repair the 3808

I have been pondering your questions for a day or so now trying to figure out how to answer your question. And my conclusion is that it is difficult for someone to jump into a thread already in progress with stuff gathered randomly. For me to help I would need a full background on what your particular unit is doing. Symptoms are sometimes more of a clue where a problem may be more so then measurements. It may be better to start a new thread with what your unit is doing or not doing.

Hello again. I have one 3808 unit, stuck in up-date, but mine show 72min. The same SUB-ERROR 01. I did all the things (measurements) from this thread and i have the same readings like the other two colleagues. Thats all. The analog inputs are working, no digital, no hdmi monitor..
And thanks for responding!
