Thank you dummyload. But the jumpers in the controller board and SMPS sub board are open. I can't use both remotes. No reactions.

Decibel so your max only responds to on /standby through the remote? The projector have no reactions with his remotes. It turn on by press the power button placed in back of projector.

I prefer to open a new topic for no interfere to other where I try to solve the issue of my Cinemax. In pictures you can see two vertical boards that I own. Above is R7631415 native Cine9/909 Below is R7628085 I think from Cine8. The boards appear absolutely identical. Same PCB number, same components placed. I noticed only one difference: in the Cine8 board there's one SR resistor that Cine 9/909 board don't have. Edit: there are some differences between the boards. Not only one.

Bad news. I tried to remove the HDTV sub board from the vertical board. When I turn on the projector, I noticed a spark from back surface of the vertical board. A smd capacitor (C1 - 100K) has burned. I do not think it happened because of the removal of the HDTV module. Maybe I was wrong to insert the card or not fully inserted, I don't know. Hulio, I'll try to replace smd cap into vertical. Then I'll send to you the controller and vertical board to check these boards in your unit.

Well are you ready to fire up your soldering iron and get to work? Yes but I don't have any idea about how find the failed point. I inspected the surface of the controller but don't see any component superficially damaged.

Why don't you try with your friend's controller ? I am willing to send you my working spare controller, just to see if yours is faulty. But i thing you'll find someone closer to you, there in Italy for that. These boards come from donor unit without controller. My friend have two other working 909's but he isn't so expert to pull fixed boards.

Does this blue image change at all or is it this steady. And if it is steady, does it do anything, like flicker jump or anything at all if you hit any buttons like menu, input or any others? No change. However also green and red are lit but too low than blue.
