Versions 2.13, 2.21 and 2.22 are in the download section indeed. As far as i know, it is not possible to save the existing software from the controller in bin. file format. You'll need a more sophisticated program for that. Myself, i would like to have BR909 V3.20 too.

I currently have 2.13 and it is good to see that Imcan allways go back to that version. I want to try my controller in a seos split pack but might need a seos software version for that. I am going to try first but is there any experience with cin 9 controllers in seos machines?

The split-pack will run with the Cine 9 soft but you could get a fan fail error. The max. scan frequency will be a bit limited too. You can safely try, you'll not damage anything.

Have you tried this? And the fans might they spin to slow even when I do not use the fanboard? Is there something in the cine 9 software regulating the fanspeed even without th fanboard?

After flashing Cine 9 software onto my 909 SkySkan controller it did indeed slow the fans, no fan errors.
The software dictates the errors. There were none even with the fan boards missing, the CineMAX only has the front tray fan board anyway, there is no extra board in the rear.
The SEOS parts of the software will not change, if my SkySkan is anything to go by, and im sure someone else did a SEOS as well.
The lowering of the max scanrate is really neither here nor there. Who is ever going to push it to 180kHz anyway? Its far more than you need or could effectively use.

Ok I guess the fans spinning slower might not be a good thing in the splitcase housing. On the other hand there is less to cool because the tubes have their own fans so a little slow down might even hurt less in a split? What do you think?

Cant see an issue. They speed up when it gets hot.

As I said in another topic, yesterday arrived a controller that I bought. The identification screen show "BR 909" with more over 53k hours. Software 2.22. The run time of each tube show little hours, about 16. How is possible?

That's normal. Unlike other Barco projectors, BR909/Cine9//Max have the option to reset the counter for each tube. So it means that the previous owner changed his tubes, reset the counter and used the projector just for 16 hours eversince. Congrats with bringing the Max back to life. Now you have also back-up for most critical boards.

A simple question: as I said in another thread, I bought a controller with BR909 software. Can I put this controller in my Cinemax? I tried to install it and apparently there aren't problems.

Sure you can, they are interchangeable. In fact is one and the same board with little software mod. ( limitation of upper scan frequency for CineMax in order to be able to run the fans a bit slower ).

So if I swap the controller into my Cinemax I will have a BR909 without scan limitations?
