At some point i saw the built in remote is not backlit, is it proven to be working?
Is there a remote control with the set that is functioning?
If you press 1 on the remote and plug something into composite video does it work? They dont always show the identification screen on start up.
Are there any bent pins on any boards?
Check all the caps on the SMPS, i have one here that does unusual things.

Frankly, what I see here is you throwing a bunch of boards at it, not knowing if they are even compatible, then assuming it is the controller with out even doing any testing with your multi meter. What is it you would really like to do? Do you want to trouble shoot it or just keep guessing?

I would to fix the issue, obviously I swapped RGB driver board that is compatible and I tried vertical from Cine8 that appear identical at model built in of Cinemax. I checked several resistor named sr1 sr2 ... with multimeter. The projector don't have HT or deflection problems. So, as said several forum's friends here or elsewhere, the issue is located at video chain or controller. I have a multimeter. What I must to do?

At some point i saw the built in remote is not backlit, is it proven to be working? No but I'm afraid that's a sympthom of bad controller. The built in remotes are connected directly at controllers in previous Barco's series. I hope to be wrong.

The R number of the 808s rgb driver is not the same as cin 9 in the last digit. I tried and in my case the image was distorted with the 808s driver but there was something. Be careful swapping boards power suply might differ and things might blow.

You could try swapping the controller board, but id be thinking its more like a power supply issue.

I would also try power supply (SMPS) and I still would not rule out the vertical board. Something must be different with it if it made your P/S make noise.

Even if it does end up being a problem with the controller I see no reason to not be able to talk you through to repair it. Even though I use to be the person who kept his mouth shut for CRT projectors repairs on another forum out of respect for another person that is not the same here. And that respect has changed. So don't be discouraged even if it ends up being the controller. I have repaired many, many CPU's over the years.

I check the SMPS sub unit and I found that the two caps in my unit are different than bulletin. I think that is a previous release of PCB/partlist
In the SMPS sub unit of the my Cinemax there are four caps with the same value/voltage
C450 and C451 (caps of the service bulletin) have 470uF 25v instead 560uF 32v
Also C504 and C600 have 470 uF 25v
Diode D400 with multimeter show resistance.

Replace the 470uF 25v with 560uF 35v

Yes those are the ones you need, like Case mensioned. You have an older revision indeed, with the PCB nr.780894-2. Here a picture of mine with PCB nr.780894E-2. I suppose that E means enhanced, and the caps are already upgraded by Barco. By the way, for those who didn't knew: each board has a manufacturing date and is to bee seen on that white stamp. The one in my picture is 4702 and means week 47 of year 2002.

The sub board appear the same, except caps that I've mentioned.
