Real quick there is no Q7010 or R7077 & R7080 installed on this board.
So I guess I should remove R7035 and check to see if the pulsing stopped.
Do you think the EEPROM is bad or just corrupted?

Ok I removed R7035 and pulsing is now gone on R7030 I also retested pin 109 and it is now 3.3v steady.

I have not remove the eeprom did you want me to remove that or just remeasure pin 5 and 6?

No, check it with it still there. I just assumed incorrectly.

Ok
Pin 5 = 0v Pin 6 = .078v

Was that board from the 626 that you took the crystal from a parts board?

No it's a good board the receiver needs to have a blown channel repaired I have a few of the 626 here.
I will be order some of the crystals to have on hand plus i was going to replace the 626 one with a new one.

I could pull the eeprom off and read it in my reader to see if it's blank would not be the first time with these Onkyo's

The eeprom is suppose to be blank. It is not a preprogrammed one. It is there for the mcu to write to and read from when required. You can take the one from the 626 and install it directly into the 636. If you do this, recheck for the pulsing after you put the eeprom in but before you start putting anything else back, just to verify.

It does say in the data sheet for the crystal not to reuse them but I used some chipquick to remove it so I did not have the iron on it for very long.

Ok so to recap.
As of right now I have no pulsing on the board the only thing I have removed at this time is R7035 and I have also not reinstalled Q7016 but that should have nothing to do with what were seeing right now.
You want me to reinstall the R7035 resistor and replace the eeprom with the one from the 626 right?
