Better measure the +17v instead of the +30v it can indeed be affected by the HTHD on the subboard.

Ok I made one change. I put in a new TDA4601 on I101 (this one measured completely different with the multimeter on the pins) and now with everything in theSMPS the HTHD led does NOT burn Second I measured the 17V in standby still and it says 7,2V If this 7,2V is not abnormal I am thinking about putting the jumper in but I will wait for comment first. The HTHD measures 0V now still in standby

can you measure HTHD to,without jumper.

can you measure HTHD to,without jumper. Ha I just did it measures 0V. I am thinking about measuring on a good SMPS the 17V to see if this is normal to have 7V on the 17V. Might well be that much more is damaged.

O.k was to late again ,uhmm can you solder a wire to the + of c25 and a wire to the- of c25 to measure what voltage is over it with j30 removed , bewarel the - of c25 is NOT chasis ground but MAINS GROUND don't touch it.

Ok will do. In meantime I measured a normal working SMPS and it has 7,3V on the 17V too. So everything indicates normal behaviour right now

Ok it measured 0V I replaced this one with a panasonic low esr one just like C125.

What do you think? Put in the jumper and fire up?

O.k. that seems right , but now I can't explain why with the other tda the HTHD was present without j30 even a damaged one can not do that if it has no supply?? So I can not say if it 's save to put j30 on ,I would shortly put on just enough to measure value of HTHD and +17v, also don't know if values will be correct without any load to it.

The only thing I could think of that somehow the 325V that is on pin 4 of the TDA made it to some noise signal on the output pin??? I tried with the jumper but nothing happens still 7,2V on 17V and 0V on HTHD. I think I removed to many boards for the set to start? I might put in the tray with the controller again?

No need for the tray, measure again on c25 with jumper j30 in place . (325v is still present and +9v led burning?)

Ok the voltage is 0V on c25 with j30. Fuse still ok I will check the 325V -> There is 370V now (measured on c50this time) standby led burning
Also tested if the subboard would make a good smps start and that is no problem without the tray. However I do hear a beep sound perhaps a cap without load being switched? I found I had to insert the SMPS2 and the Horizontal to not hear beeping sounds anymore but kind of scary all leds where green and no hold down or anything while the tray and the neckboards and the EHT where unplugged.

Perhaps TH1 dead? I have a spare tic1060 on a Cine 8 powersupply.

If it's really 370v that should mean the pcf is on normaly only possible through the controller power supply on/off output are with jumper j11 on the pcf board? j30 in place must activate TH1 which should put a supply voltage on c25 and c125 so both tda's can start up (nothing can happen if the tda don't get there supply c25,c125). So there seems to be something wrong there. TH1 rectivies the mains through ptc1 and ptc2 and sr1 on the pcf board check those resistors.
