Sorry didn't colect the numbers ,a few seconds after start up there was a scrolling of error numbers but I paid no attention to it because I already knew the vertical board was causing it. All i2c control was lost , i2c works with open collector outputs so if things go south on the bus the chips can not damage each other (they only can pull to ground, pull up happens with a resistor on each line on the bus, control board) Scope showed that the chips on the vertical board no longer let the sda and scl line free to +3.3v but was flooting between 1v and 2v so blocking the bus. I had to disconnect all three from the bus before it came free so all three where bad.
The second board without keystone and bow ,did not give any errors because that part was working fine, problem was sr9 (1ohm/0.25w) that had failed so output stage had no -40v supply. There was first a little confusion because the board in my test projector had the same fault and I hadden't noticed it yet. (oeps) They look like new no burn marks or discoloring.
As a side note there are some geometric settings that are done by the convergence board ,my convergence board was not connected at the time so some settings in the geometric menu didden't work after connecting convergence board they did. (not a real suprise but it can confuse one while repairing)
