I did factory reset and its clear everything by clicking CBL + power button still no audio I tried to force updated again from the receiver manually because the option for update in the unit menu turn grey it's not accepted Any update anymore so I click net button + power and select update from net and the process stop on 9% with error message 1-05 or 0-05 I cannot remember exactly. Another step I try to do update from USB after download latest frimwere from onkyo canada website unpack to USB and i facing to another terrible with error code 1-83 .
I did call onkyo canada company 2 time yesterday they did troubleshooting with all above but they did not know how to return my unit back with audio sound. Again all this happened after update latest Firmware.

You need to look at the firmware level for each subsystem. To do this:
1) Turn the system on and let everything boot up (give it a minute) 2) Press and hold [DISPLAY] and then press [ON/STANDBY] twice 3) Turn the [TONE] button to scroll through the different subsystems
Report back the firmware levels for each subsystem and I will see if we can figure this out.

It would appear from the video that the OSD firmware didn't load properly. One "trick" you can try is to instruct the system to only update firmware that is old. This may get you past the error (this worked for me on an NR686). To do this:
Connect the system to the internet with an Ethernet cable (don't use wireless) 1) Turn on the unit. It takes some time to start after you switch on the unit. 2) Press: [DIMMER] + [ON/STANDBY] x 2 3) Press [RETURN] button 4) Using the selector wheel, select "NET->WORK" 5) Press [ENTER}
This should cause the system to connect to Onkyo and to only download firmware modules that are incorrect.
Let us know if this works. Todd

I did Your instruction and its take 5 second And it says complete! But nothing happened or fixed, and If I doing the same your instruction On the step (4) I put (All) rather than (work) and It's stop to 9% with error code 1-83.

I would recommend that you follow the same steps but with the following change:
Connect the system to the internet with an Ethernet cable (don't use wireless) 1) Turn on the unit. It takes some time to start after you switch on the unit. 2) Press: [DIMMER] + [ON/STANDBY] x 2 3) Press [RETURN] button 4) Using the selector wheel, select "NET->DSP1" 5) Press [ENTER}
This will redo the DSP firmware load.

I did Using step No.4 the selector wheel, select "NET->DSP1" and only take 10 second To download but for writing from 0 to 100 It's take couple minute And it's stuck on 98% and give me error message 1 - 83 I just turn off and after that it say please update So I click enter after that so its going to 9% and then its give me the same Error message 1 - 83

These newer model Onkyo's are very picky with firmware updates. They get very confused in some instances.
One thing to be aware of is that after an update like this, you have to unplug the amp for a couple of minutes. The HDMI board receives power at all times when the system is plugged in so it never really does a reset of some components.
I know this seems redundant but you should unplug the amp for a couple of minutes, plug it back in, turn it on and leave it running for 2-3 minutes. After this, you should try the "NET->WORK" step again to see if we can get it back on track.

I really appreciate it For your help and advising me step-by-step.I did What you told me to Unplug power It seems doesn't work still I get 98% after that there is same error code 1 - 83.
Do you think it's hardware or software Issue?, It's never happened only after update frmwere.

I believe this is a software issue. Have you cleared the amp before trying the firmware update? To do this you would turn the amp on, press and hold the CBL/SAT button and then press ON/STANDBY. The display should say "CLEAR" and it will automatically shut itself off when it is complete

I did Factory reset Until to clear more than 25 time Each frimwere I download from onkyo and its stop to 9% from usb or 98% so I have to do with that factory reset to clear and shut off by itself.
It's look like something is blocking The frimwere. Is there anything to clear the chip from the software And Reinstall Again Or if you have old frimwere will be Great to try it.
By the way it's indicated for my search on Google this is common problem with too many onkyo users With different model too ,they did an update and they got the same problem that what I have for no sound.

One question: did you update firmware regularly on this system or was the existing firmware very old?
I ask because Onkyo changed the format of their firmware files a couple of years ago and this seems to create issues for people who try to jump multiple generations of firmware.
I had the same thing happen to me on an RZ820 recently. When an Onkyo system does a firmware update, it updates the MAIN CPU last. I suspected that this processor is the one that installed the files so if it can't decrypt the new format, the rest of the update will fail. The way I got around this was to perform a manual update of only the MAIN CPU firmware. Once it was complete, I unplugged the system for a couple of minutes to ensure the CPU shut down completely and then I did the "NET->ALL" update again. This worked on my system but note that if this doesn't work, it could make matters worse so you should only do this as a last resort.
If you are wondering, the "new style" firmware package has a "_N" designation in the name such as: ONKAVR0025_E70000EAEAEOEO_N_113.
A safer route would be to look at all the files on Softpedia and look for an earlier version that doesn't have the "_N" in the file name. This is more likely to work but will leave you with old firmware. The solution to this issue would be to gradually install new firmware. As I look at the Softpedia site, I see that Firmware 1.18 is the old style while Firmware 1.19 is the new style. As such, I would first install 1.18 to get everything running again and then I would install 1.19 which should be smart enough to install the tools necessary for the MAIN CPU to decode the new format. Once I had this working properly, I would install the latest update.
HTH Todd
