I removed d1046 and I receive 12v now And you did reconnect that wire you removed for the 5.6v?

And there is nothing connected to connector CP1000A1 which is suppose to connect to the front board of the receiver?

That is correct nothing connected to the board but the audio in board.

Then I need you to go to that connector CP1000A1, set your DMM on ohm scale, put your neg probe on pin 29 and with the pos probe test pins 33,34 and 35 and give me your readings.

on 33 i received 8.84 mega ohm 34 and 35 no reading. Not sure if there is a way to tell if i am at correct pins

Lets try it this way then. On CP1008 use pin 13 for your neg probe. Then look for 3 resistors, R1169, R1170 and R1171. Test both sides of each resistor with your pos probe and give me those readings.

Well line 13 relay 12v shows 11.7 mega ohm on both sides I have no idea of what you are saying.

line 13 is market as 12v relay and both sides of resistors are showing as 10.7 mega ohms on both sides

The manual shows pin 13 as MC-gnd. It shows pin 4 as 12v relay. Go 4 pin in from the other side of the connector for ground. Then locate those 3 resistors and use your pos probe to test both sides of each resistor and give me the readings. That will be 6 readings.

I am getting 6.35 mega ohm on each resistor leg , I measured each leg separate of the resistors.

Can you test D1046 on diode scale?

I want you to look over this schematic and tell me what conclusion you come to. DENON AVR 790 main.pdf (768.58 KB)
