I think you could send your convergence board to someone for repair. I think Hulio in Belgium does repair work.

I'm thinking to buy a convergence board. However I resolder all common smd components. Now the resistors remain both cold. The noise of the images remains but has changed the aspect. I don't found a words for describe this. I don't check the transistors because I don't understansd how to check. So you resoldered some points and now the (2) SR's remain cold, even doing convergence adjustments. And all the convergence controls work properly. Is that correct? But you still see something in the (image or grid?) that goes away when you remove the (2) jumpers. Correct?

Ill say it again, the noise and grid movement may not be the convergence board...

First off, if you havent allready, zero the dynamic astig settings AND and digital focus settings, then set them as good as they get mechanically.
Both those can and do cause jittering and jumping as well as noise on these machines.

The grills never disappear. I have yet to try the convergence but geometry settings work. This projector has many settings. However, the problem is very simple: now ONLY when I insert the jumper W2 starts the noise. Until yesterday it was a kind of "vibration". Now the picture "fry" I can not find a term in proper english. Tonight I will make a couple of video clips.

@ Casethecorvetteman: I set the projector ALL in midpositions. Geometry, Astigmatism, convergences. All neutral. And I erased ALL memory blocks.

Does the quad buzz or make any noise?
There really is not that many settings at all in these, a lot for a Barco i spose.

For an apparently "all digital convergence" projector, they sure have a hell of a lot of analog trim pots to adjust various geometry settings...

No noise from quad or from other place.

I edited previous posts: the noise starting with jumper W2. I wrote wrong in two of my previous posts.

There was a misunderstanding caused by my inexperience about electronic circuits, sorry. Until now I had associated the two jumpers to the two safety resistors.
I believed that W1 disconnect SR1 and W2 disconnect SR2
However, it remains a fact: video noise appears when I insert the jumper W2

Again, I need to know if the convergence board is working. I need you to check "all" adjustments.

Again, I need to know if the convergence board is working. I need you to check "all" adjustments. I just installed the lenses and tried to check convergence adjustments. Seems to work all. I had some difficult to check those adjustments because the projector is temporarily placed in a very little room. I project the images outside of this room, in stairs of the building I also noticed that the heatsink of the controller becomes very hot during work. Someone checked the temperature of his controller?

I'll let someone else answer your controller question. So convergence works good.but the grid has an issue you call "fry" whatever that is, lol. Is this same issue noticeable in the video playing onscreen?

He we did not read this serious but it is perhaps exactly what Decibel describes. I quote: 'Oscillations on the end stage of the blue convergence may occur, resulting in an unstable image. These oscillations may cause failures on the peripheral components. Burn out of the Source resistors and other capacitors have been reported.' The solultion requires to replace some smd resistors. I would certainly try this! Decibel did you measure some of those resistors to see if they are 10 Ohm or 100 Ohm in your board?
