If there is a chance to fix this issue, I'm fine with that. Could you please let me know how the rest is done. Thanks!

Ooooooops, I forgot about this. Not indoors much with summer here now.
Master reset: With receiver in standby press and hold the setup and standby/on buttons. Display shows reset no., press enter. using right and left arrow select reset, then press enter, display shows reset?OK, press enter. Should display OK.

Did a master reset based and the problem still reappears. One thing to note, once the connection goes down, if I leave it alone, it comes back at some point by itself. Does this intermittent failure perhaps mean bad network port on the receiver? For whatever reason, it loses connection to the router. Thanks!

Well at this point, if you believe it is most likely in the receiver, the only thing I can suggest is the freeze fix. Even though it is not freezing and if it has never had the fix done, I have seen many different symptoms fixed by the repair. It would still be a gamble but probably cheaper then replacing boards or trying to test it out which would be futal if it was not a component failure. I would still be more comfortable if you could take your receiver to someone else's house and try it on their internet using all their components and just your receiver.

I have a VSX-94THX that freezes and locks up after being on for a couple minutes. I cannot change the input, volume or any settings when it freezes. I have to unplug the unit, but it takes it a few minutes after being plugged back in to allow me to turn it back on. Any suggestions?

Assuming he's still performing the board repairs, this is who repaired my 94THX with the freezing problem a couple of years ago and it's worked perfectly since.
I highly recommend emailing him, he will provide instructions for board removal and where to ship it etc.

Unfortunately parts for this repair are no longer available so there is no longer any repair service.

Are the parts requires to fix the 92txh available at all? I'm pretty handy w/ circuit board repairs. It looks like this thread might be dead in the water...hasn't been any activity lately.
