I had a VSX 94txh that I sold because of this problem. Wish I knew there was a fix for it. I had called Pioneer and they didn't know anything about it.

Several different intermittent problems, 1. unable to power down the receiver without unplugging it. 2. Unable to use remote control. 3. Unable to control the volume.
