OK, I'm not getting all my relay clicks now?? My volume led is out as well.... I back tracked and voltages are all lower than they were... I'm getting one power button click, than no more.....

i still have 8.04 acv across the 2 resistors, but i guess i will have to confirm the other voltages??

any theories why all the relay actions would quit?

You can try reset again. If that does not work then start over testing voltages again.

You may have some bad solder joints. This could also be the problem with the front display. You are going to have to also start looking at solder points very closely, especially where connectors and harness point are.

Yes, OK I will have a look and reflow suspected areas.

OK, back to beginning I have Cn29 Vfdp- ( -12.7 DC) -5 - ( -4.95 DC ) +5. - ( +4.9 DC )
Cn14 pin1 - ( -3.5 dcv) Pin4 - ( 0.6 dcv ) Cn13 pin1 - ( 0.1 dcv) Pin 4 - ( -0.5 dcv) 8.04 acv across r122 - r123. Cn34 - 1 pin out of 4 registers +4.87 dcv

And this is with hearing 1 click when the button is pressed? Did you try pressing the power button again while testing?

I get the initial click after pushing the power button and the standby light shuts off. During the first round of testing, I was getting 3 clicks. Also the light in the volume quit lighting as well??. If I change speaker from a to B I no longer get a relay click there either...?? I usually don't probe the pin until it's in place than energize... I haven't turned the unit off and on while checking voltages ( yet??)...

Cn34 - 1 pin out of 4 registers +4.87 dcv There are 2 things I see when looking at this. First I see that the main transformer is not being turned on. Second I see that the voltage across the 2 resistors is the same as before even with no power to the main transformer. This has me suspicious. I want you to lift one end of each resistor,R122 and R123 on the side "NOT" toward the transformer and then retest the voltage on the resistors again.

Wow, I gotta say how lucky we are having someone like you guide us with these type of repairs!! Thank you so much! I will get those voltages in a few hours and post!
