You need to be doing all this testing in diode mode. You are getting to much cross readings from the surrounding circuit and components. Unless I indicate otherwise only use diode mode.

Ok. Got a different meter. It's in diode. Mode. Now in diode to read a short would be 0.000 correct? Meter says .0L at rest. And for a normal circuit should show some low numbers. If it's a dead short it be zerod out

If my above statements correct I don't show a short anywhere on the board

Statement is correct. Repair cut leg and install board.

Done. Same deal. But now I get all kinds of relay clicks. But still right to protection mode

There's relay clicks as soon as I plug it in. When I hit standby button. Really clicks when I do reset and when I let go off reset. And they click when I remove power. So all the relays appear to be back up

Probably one of those jumpers but it sounds like there maybe two relays clicking when I plug it in even though tge power switch is off. Defenitally one but sounds like maybe two

So after you press the standby button there are some clicks and then the red led goes back to blinking at the same pace?

I plug it in with switch off. Sounds like a relay clicks on then off is what is. Then I press the power switch and I get one relay click and protection light is flashing. Hit standby and the light stops and stays red. No relay click. Hit it again and it flashes. No relay click. Hit power button off and I get one click. Unplug power cord and I get one more click

Try this. Press and hold the status and return buttons. While holding them press the on button. If you hear a noise release all the buttons and then press and release just the status button. See if the display lights. At this time also note if the led is steady of flashing. Let me know what you get.
Just leave that latching power switch on. No need to keep unlatching it.

Ok, I'm going to give you this next tests and then I am signing off for tonight. I'll check in the morning for your results.
Back to the amp board (110030-1). On that board there is a 3 pin connector with nothing connected to it. It is CX705. Locate that connector and set your DMM to DC volts, plug in the unit and test between pins 1 and 3. Pin 3 is ground and pin 1 should be around +12v, maybe. If you have the +12v then on the same board go to CX115 (you've been there before). Using the same Pin 3 in cx705 for ground, test cx115 pin 7 for voltage with the positive probe. Let me know if there is any voltage. Let me know what you get.

One more button test you can try. This time have the unit unplugged but leave the on/off button latched on. then press and hold the menu and multeq xt buttons and while holding them plug in the unit. Give it a second or 2 and then release all buttons. Then press and release the status button and see if the display comes on. If not then just unplug.
