I would pull C959 and C920 first. If voltage still low then you can pull what ever you want from what is left.
I am assuming you put Q922 back in?

Yes Q922 is back. Should I leave it?

One thing I forgot to ask, when I plug the PS in I hear a "click" but I see no relay.
What can that be? It almost sounds like a spark. Could it be the one of the Spark gap thingies ?
I removed all the passive parts and on to Q917 next. No change so far.

Well ic901 looks like the culprit may be. Last part to remove as well !!!
I have 5.25 volts on R976 and pin 8 of the removed it 902

Well it looks like Mouser has an improved version in stock. SO does Digikey. Got two of those and 5 optocouplers . If possible for small orders I use digikey due to the available option of 3.39 shipping on orders under 14 oz . With mouser you have to call or email for that. nothing in the shipping options. So I'll put all the removed parts back in except ic 901. Can I power up again to double check the 5.25 voltage on R976?? Nashou

Yes, put all back in and test, but also test on vcc pads of ic's.
If that test goes ok then we should probably also jump pins 3 and 4 of ic911 (optocoupler) and see how it affects the 5v at CN902 and the 5.25 on R976. It would be best to test as much as we can now.

I would also put my DMM on diode test and look for shorts on any of the mosfets and diodes in this box since ic901 was bad.

Ok the only IC left in is ic902, so I assume to test the vcc on the empty pads of ic901 as well. ic903 has no vcc pads I think. What about ic910 ( opto) ?

So voltages were fine before and after jumping ic911. Only the vcc at ic901 was 4.59 a little lower than 5v the other locations were 5.09

I meant ic901 and ic902.
Do not jump ic910 now. It will not function without ic901.
