I have a nr1010 that probably have the faulty dts chip, but I also have a nr414 that been serviced by Onkyo. Can I swap the working dts chip from the 414 to the 1010?
I rather have a working 1010 then 414

With the help of this forum I made a "repair" video on my Onkyo 3007. Well, it's not a "repair" as I don't have a reliable source of "D" ICs but I basically explained what I've learnt from here - the forum is mentioned, shown and linked of course! - so I thought you might like to take a peek!
Thanks everybody - TJmotter in particular - for all the help!!

Very nice video. Glad the forum was so helpful. And thanks for the reference. If you wouldn't mind, would you make a new thread with this same video so I can make it a sticky? I could just move this one but I would like to leave it here also for this thread.

Hey all,
Had to register just to thank for this forum and Onkyo-threads, especially tjmotters posts were helpful. I rescued an Onkyo NR646 which had no sound!
