Admin edit: Here is a direct link of your drop box just to make it a little easier: Marantz SR7011 SM

Ok I *might* have found something ? I was attempting to check the crystal oscillators for the DSP's and the first dsp does not look like the rest. It won't auto read the frequency and the waveform looks distorted.
If I knew how to use this scope I might be dangerous lol.

Scratch that. All four oscillators putting out a stable 25mhz. I can see bursts of activity on the Miso and Mosi lines but the clock line doesn't seem to be running continuously. Is that normal ?

May be first dsp SPI flash memory corrupted , also you can try remove first DSP SPI flash ic and check the firmware version,

Do you mean remove the DSP1 flash IC then run the unit to see if firmware comes up for the other three ?
Or do you mean read it, because I wouldn't know where in the bin to look for the firmware level...

I pulled the HDMI board and had a look and didn't see anything obvious, everything looks good.
I pulled and read IC254 which is the spi flash for the first DSP. I notice an erased section from about 0x2500 to 0xFFFF but no idea if that's anything out of the ordinary.

I can't find R1560 the line probably goes through a via to the bottom of the board. However I DO measure 100 ohms from the cpu reset pin to each dsp reset pin so that is not the problem. Here are some pics I took of all the items that have failed or anomalous firmware/software readings in the service menu you mentioned earlier. Quite odd I think. Did you check the resister R1590/R1589 as indicated in the manual page 134? check for any corrosion also

Yes, I actually reconfigured it for a different region by moving the zero ohm resistor to see if the FIRM ERROR would go away. It did not so I put it back. The region resistor configuration is not the problem. The board is very clean as well.
Are you able to see anything in the flash dump I provided ? There are a few members here who have experience with this I hope they chime in as well.

i have Denon x4300 , i think it is same Marantz 7011, i will compare the Flash content , mean time you can try remove the 1st DSP flash IC and try to see firmware versions of DSPs without installing it back. Let see the result.

Ok you mean to leave the flash ic off the board and reinstall to see if firmware for other dsp's populate ?
I didn't see your post and in the meantime I pulled and read the flash for DSP2. Here is that one.
