Hi As per title. Looking for any info about these two IC's (see attched) I've got email reply from MA support and they don't have SM for this particular model. Thanks in advance.

Where did you locate this information? On ifixit website. There is a tutorial over there about mainbaord replacement, with large and good quality photos.

I found these values, 3 resistors, 1 ohm each.

Hi Does anyone know vaules of these 2 burnt smd resistors? I reckon some very small value like 0.2 ohm or so.I could find any service manual or schematic for smps either. Thanks in advance.

I managed to bring smps back to life, but unit still won't power up. I guess I have to dig a little more deeper.

Ok, so I've got the answer for my second question, it's 24V.

Hi
I'm looking for SMPS schematic of Bose Solo TV. Does anyone also know, what is the output voltage of that psu?
Thanks in advance.

I reckon, the problem is with DAC's VCC or more likely with IC153 (R2A15220FP) I've had at least 3 or 4 Sony av receivers with dodgy +7V or -7V,causing similar symptoms. Use any of the analog inputs, and switch on Direct mode.

Do you get the same symptoms in Direct mode?

Does anyone know, if the serial number is also stored in flash memory/main processor etc on the hdmi board? I've got faulty unit here without serial number label at the back panel. Thanks in advance.

I am assuming you have found the same service manual I have found that does not have any schematics? What is wrong with it? Correct, no schematic in these pdfs. I have to main units, one has no sound at all and second one has faulty R channel.

I've managed to fix it I believe the problem was caused by poor communication between DSP and SD-RAM IC.I've re-soldered couple of sd-ram's pins and two smd resistors.

Hi. Not sure if this is the same case, but based on my experience, I would closely look at the hdmi receiver and transmitter chips. These ICs usually use +3.3V CPU, which is key rail for main microprocessor.I've had in my workshop av receivers with dodgy hdmi chips(shorted internally)preventing unit to switch on.

Hi So I've bought this one of ebay recently. Previous owner claims, it was in full working order. On that day when it has arrived, I've hooked it up to my router and updated firmware via internet. It was late, so I didn't connect my speakers at that point. On the next day, to my surprise, I couldn't get any sound out of it. Tried hdmi, bluetooth, analog, airplay, home network..nothing (although speakers relays where on) Turns out, you can reset this Sony receiver to three different modes: Shipment mode, All Clear Mode and User Mode. I've done all these and voila! Sound was back on Now, here comes the "weird part": -sound goes off when music optimizer is set to Low or Normal - comes back when set to OFF -I get sound while playing FLAC files but not with MP3's ( ) - works fine with A.F.D/2ch, multi-stereo and few other modes but not with HD-D.C.S sound field. I believe, this is a firmware issue rather then hardware, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anybody know, how to force update via usb or perhaps have any ideas? Thanks.
