Hi.Yes, I've done all that last night. It looks like firmware in this unit can be upgraded in four different ways: usb, network, s/pdif port and ,t/srv (maybe it's a serial port?)To see those options, follow the key combination to display DPS chip firmware(display+ power) and then hit Return button. Now use left/right arrow keys to choose between ALL,VMPU etc. or up/down keys between upgrade ways.

Aye, tried that already. See photo number 1, network and firmware update options are grey out and can't be chosen Also, I get no LED activity on my usb drive and the front display just shows "Now Initializ" and that's it.

Hello, Long story short, bought this unit of ebay with no sound and network issue. I've purchased and fitted brand new chip 830K013DZKB4, but still get no audio. I believe but not 100% sure here, new chip needs to programmed now.See photo no.3 here: Onkyo TX-NR609 I'm not sure what that string of question marks means. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Where is the fuse located that keeps blowing? Power supply is ok. I can switch it on without mosfets.

What fuse is blowing? F1 on the PS board? The one in the mains 230V socket. The sub supposed to be faulty according to the ebay seller. But it wasn't. I've been testing if for couple of days and worked fine. But one day, I turned the volume up to the max and bang! Both mosfets, IFR540N were shorted. I've replaced them, switched it on and the fuse was blown after 3-4 seconds. Few weeks ago, I was working on a Mordaunt Short 309 sub. Power amp is a class d amp, also build on mosfets. I'm more then sure that both power transistors have had dc (+/- 50V) on their gates. Here, only one mosfets gets dc on the gate.

Hi. I'm looking for the service manual or amplifier schematics. Main fuse keep blowing. I think, from some reason one of the power mosfets has no DC on its gate. Amplifier board is quite small and with all the smd components its hard to follow the traces. Photo of the amplifier attached. Thanks in advance.

Hi
I was wondering, if the latest firmware for this model is available for download? I've been searching it for a while but I can't find it. I have this amp with the firmware version: 1000-7110-000. Thanks.

Quick update: I've recently fixed Onkyo TX-SR333 and this model is doing exactly same thing, so I guess, the problem lies somewhere else.

Ok, so I've done some tests and in the moment where I hear this popping sound,I was getting between -55 and 110mV DC going to the speaker. Hope that helps.

If you have a DMM check and see if there is any DC voltage on any of the speaker outs. Hi and thanks for your replay. O,k I will check that once I get back home from work.

Hello. Initially, I got this AVR of ebay with faulty center channel. Now it works ok, but from some reason when I change channels on my satellite receiver or inputs from SAT/CBL to NET for example, I hear this very annoying popping sound coming from all connected speakers. This noise can be also heard when: 1.Navigate through folders on my media center PC 2.When I power it off - here, the popping sound is even more loud. Does anyone know, what could cause this issue? Here is a short video where you can hear the popping sound while I switch it off. www.dropbox.com/s/zwb44ijwhdrunze/Plik%2009.08.2016%2C%2016%2020%2003.mov?dl=0
