Hy. I have one Denon 3808A and works only in analog mode. No HDMI, no digital. When i make the test with up/down and poweing on - shows an error (which from the service guides says )
① Sub-μcom NG No response from Sub-μcom " □ SUB □□ ERROR □01□ "
Can this be repaired ? Thanks!

What are all your voltages on CW118 and CW122?

I see your CW118 pin 3, SCPU+5v is also low at 2.7v. This will probably take some effort to find. Are you wanting to put in the effort?

Hy. I want to repair and if you help me, maybe the 3808 will work again. I was curious what the other two colleagues did. If they changed the 1u-3799 and the problem still persist, or the 3799 is the problem. Thanks.

Well normally we would trouble shoot this in an orderly fashion but in this case I want you to jump ahead and check something first. Go to the Digital board (1u-3799) and locate ic959 and remove it. Then go back and test the voltage on CW118, pin 3.

i will. but 3.3v derives from scpu5v and instead 5v the scpu5v have 2.5v (pin 14 - pin15 at cw 159). scpu5v parts from tr715 found on 1u-3804-2 (1/2). the tr715 feed from master5v (and i mesured and have 5v). but tr715 it's trigger by tr714. tr 714 feeds from scpupower. i must veryfi scpupower

No, TR715 is not populated. Either we have a language barrier or you are not reading the schematic correctly.

Did you try testing IC959 after you removed it with your DMM?

i've put 5,4v on the input pin and on the output i have 3.25v This should be fine for the test. Can you post a picture of your board where you removed that ic?
