But it is not so important as the internal remote is seldom used. Well maybe it is not important for the internal remote, BUT, if it is not the remote, cable or board then it may be 1 of the 2 voltages that power that circuit and if those voltages also power something else then there could be another issue you have not seen yet.

Ok those are the right questions! I complete unscrewed both internal remotes. I tried the old one again with the other cable but no response at all just like before. Than the Cine Max remote with the other cable and yes it worked but after a few times pressing buttons became unresponsive. So I was thinking lets just connect this Max remote nice to the hatch and attached the cable a few times more and than tried for fun one more time and now it works all the time! Could it be that the first remote is broken and the second was just oxidised on a pin or so? Thanks!

When the backlight is on and the green led on the remote is flashing when pushing a button the remote itself is working. When backlight is on and green led does not flash when pushing a button problem is in the remote. The remote only use the +9v so when the backlight is on the electronics are also powered.I had the same problem ,internal remote stops responding after xx time ,oscillator from pic in the remote did no more start up , i had to modifying the oscillator circuit a bit to fix the problem . I have no schematics of the remote and forgot what exactly i did . If it happens again check if the green led is flashing.

Ok that exactly describes what happened. The backlight was working but the led did not flash anymore after xx time. In fact the last time I checked I noticed that the led also flashed when I pressed the IR remote. So I tried pressing the IR remote and I expected that after some time the led would stop flashing. However that way the led kept flashing. Than I tried the buttons with the same result, kept working. Strange Does someone else here have schematics of the remote?

I have no external remote so at first it is confusing , i also thought that the controller got stuck when it happened. The occasionally flashing of the green led without pushing a button also happens here sometime ,it doesn't seem to cause any problem ,no explanation yet.

Thanks! Think we can fix these remotes now. Might wel be the oscillator in the remote that does not react at all that I have. The backlight burns but no blinking led.

Still one question that I can not find the answer to. I have a remote sensor R763112-02. It was plugged in the jack rear IR RECEIVER REAR J25. It has the same type of connector as the internal remote and the internal remote was plugged into the connector IR RECEIVER FRONT J250. So it seems they can be plugged on both plugs? When I look at the schematics the sensor works on 5V pin 3. I can not find if the internal remote also works on 5V. So I am not certain if I can use my sensor on the same connector as the internal remote.
It is important because it seems the IR RECEIVER FRONT is carried with the cable of the splitpack to the head unit and I would like to connect that REAR sensor there.
Anyone solved this puzzle?

Think I found it. It seems they are the same and the 9V is not used by the sensor.

Well good news I got a nice picture from my internal Moome and the strange thing is that I was able to make a 1080p@72Hz resolution that was accepted by the Moome. I than again tried this resolution on my Marquee but now way. I think my 2010 Moome is somehow not able to use that bandwidth or the Moome just got better? Now i am doubting to buy a newer Moome for my Marquee or try a drhdmi solution?

1080p@72 met windows pc is no problem. I am thinking the Mac has to little power. So the best solution would be the drhdmi box or some other powered extender. I am also thinking about the hdfury as it can scale to 72Hz and could be used to get other players to 72Hz too. But pricy.

The Dr HDMI works quite well, but i wouldnt recomend the HDF 4. I will use it as a hdmi in and hdmi out. I will not use the analogue part. It should be able to triple frame rate to 72p.
