Just to be sure. Do you have this option set off? I do not know if it is possible to set it to on without a line doubler but anyway. Nope Case, I have no access to this submenu. I have "Color Adjust" and "Format Select" only. I guess I need the LIMO installed to get there. Maybe Barco has a "secret menu" too, like the Marquee... who knows... Thats not me, its Redfox

Also throw in that Port 3 card and try that.

Did You say... 8 years... There is always a first time but not right now I really, really want to thanks all of You for the great help offered me over this forum. Case, Master, RedFox, Hulio thank You guys ! I really appreciate. The problem is definitely my video board switcher (R7627195-05). Now I have to decide what to do with it: send it out to have it fixed or wait for a spare on the bay. Maybe a spare is going to cost me less. I should also start looking into some additional issues in the mean time. For example: my SMPS squeals, Not much loud but a very high pitch and this is continuous. It doesn't stop turning the pj into "stand by". I have to unpress the power botton to make it shut up. There is also a subtle Blue tube flickering that makes me think I should start looking for a new quad soon... or maybe its just the blue a bit shorted Right ?

I reckon the board is fine, you need that connection between J401 and J402. One thing you can do to test the switcher is put in your Port 3 card and try it. DO NOT SEND IT FOR REPAIR TIL YOU TEST IT COMPLETELY!!! i just bought 3 new quads, fixed the waves and flicker i had. Get a spare splitter too! The SMPS in both mine squeal, 1 of them causes a fan fail issue now. Its failing capacitors on that SPMS, Barco has a tech bulletin about it, should be able to find it in the manuals section of this forum

Mastertech said: Or fix it your self. Ouch ! Now You are overestimating me. That's beyond even my next incarnation skills... and my ceramic soldering station misses SMD tips However, I guess this splitter suffered from overheat caused by the insertion of the "TV-One" edge blender unit inside the chassis, that may have cahnged the air flow and added additional warm. The heatsink looks very dark brownish around the transistors.

I reckon the board is fine, you need that connection between J401 and J402. He did try it with the jumper in place Case. But I think that post never made it to this thread.
