Guys I made a mistake. I have v3.12 on my controllers. I read the numbers in mirror sorry. I wonder if there was ever a version higher than 3.12? One other thing. The fans are not so loud with this version. The logo is simple BR909. Also they had a service contract with Barco while the sticcker on the back says made by Barco Seos Prodas. It seems they never have seen Seos. Sorry for the mistake still figuring out what I bought

@ Case , you are correct but it's more about the possibility to do it, the reason someone wants 909 software can be non logical. There is no good or logical reason for it. Cine 9 2.21 is not the same as 909 2.21, there were more revisions on the 909, going from 2.21 Cine 9 to 3.12 909 would be a step backwards. Higher number doesnt mean better.

I have some pretty new controllers (around 500 hours 2009) with V3.20 software. I have not yet seen anything different from my Cinemax 2.13 software. When I tried an older controller with 2.20 it seemed the fans spin at higher speed. So I have the impression the 3.20 software is better than the 2.20 all Seos. I will try to set the 2.20 to 2.21 Cinemax software and hope the fans will spin less fast. For now I will not change the 3.20 software. Oh wait one difference is that there is a zandloper (how you call that hourglass?) often on the screen. There is no SEOS version, its 909 or Cine 9, as in its commercial or domestic. Putting the Cine 9 2.21 software on will add the hourglass where the screen was previously blank. Big deal, at least you can see it doing something and not just a blank screen. I had 3.12 like you have, and the fans are WAYYY faster than any version of Cine 9 software. Hence the reason i told you more than 4 times on 4 different occations creating those little boards was a waste of your time and money, as they dont control that. But hey, what would i know The part that says Barco or SEOS or in my case SKYVISION can be make to say anything you want it to say. Greg Eisemann can program that, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the operating software.

Perhaps 3.12 works better with newer controllerboards? Perhaps the older boards work better with the older software? I advice people to be careful with flashing backwards at this point. I heared my 2.21 software on the older controller spin the fans up now and than and it was much noisier. Exact same machine only the controller was changed. That is al I know. R7631255-03 It has an extra 5 at the end. The older controller has number R763125. I will probable try putting cinemax 2.20 on the controller with 2.21 to see what happens.

Second thoughts ,the important thing about this method is that we can bring a board with data corruption (or lost of data) back alive. (and great help in fault finding) @ Redfox ,groningen is way too far for me i wait for now, until an opportunity arises.

I do not know if he still has a 3.12 controller?

With a working 3.12 controller you could only read halve of the data if I understand correct? Is that useful somehow? Ah ok I read again. You can read the flash from a working controller and put it on another controller. And we would need a eeprom programmer to use these files. Is that Willem programmer form Decibel usefull?

Ok we should help each other some way. I see Dummyload has an older controller judging from the Altera chip I see. Do you have a new controller version?

I taught they all have the same lay-out. I'll have to look tomorrow. All i know is that both controllers had V3.11 and 3.12 from Barco themself.
