@ Gjaky I find it a miracle I have two because my budget for this hobby is very low so I got very very lucky considering the amount that pop up on the market within driving distance is non exsistent. Both where dead units of course but for that matter I have never bought a working one. So you never know.

Well, I don't even have a car I think only two 9" EM CRT projectors are here in Hungary, both are Marquees BTW.

which chip stores the astig and convergence etc settings?
will erasing (0xFF) i9 cause us to lose these settings?
