Not yet. Will do that now. Is it okay if I use a TV with only DVI via a HDMI-DVI cable?

Used a monitor with HDMI, also tried a new HDMI cord, neither worked.
The monitor just cycled between HDMI, Digital and Analog as if there was no signal.

Now that you are more familiar with the settings do you think you want to swap in the other board and try it?

Ok, I can try that tomorrow.
If I get no audio/video, is there anything I should focus on?

Make sure after you swap boards you recheck your settings for multi channel out, HDMI control off and HDMI output to AVR.

Had a quick trip to Vegas this past weekend. Time to get back to this one. Sorry for the delay.
Not optimistic that swapping boards will fix the issue, but I didn't change any settings the last time. Could it be that the current board needs a reflow?
Will swap and report back tonight.

Swapped in the other HDMI board. No audio from any source (analog, HDMI, optical, Tuner or Network) Only video from analog input
I went through all the settings, couldn't find anything out of place.

Well this HDMI board may have a simpler problem since a lot of things don't work. In answer to your other question, what ic's are BGA on that board?

Just two from what I can tell. One has SLi on it, the other bridgeCo

It is just blurry enough I cannot read the ic numbers on the board. Can you decipher, lol?

These should be clearer: What it looks like to me: SLI11131AF2AY8H 12060N078 1206 DM860A 1148(or is it B)UCD E4B3008

Well those 2 are for network so they are not a problem. The ic that is related to your no HDMI out is ic721. This is also for switching HDMI 5 in and we know that works for audio so the chip is running. You also tested for shorts on the receive and transmit lines and that was ok. You also tested for the 5v supply but not at the connector itself. I think you need to do a continuity test on each line to see if there is a problem there. Make sure your test probe is high on the leg of the ic when testing so you are also testing the legs solder joint. Do the same on the HDMI connector legs. You can beep test if your meter allows but also make sure you have a very low ohm reading. Just follow the schematic for ic pins 41 through 57 and connector pins 1 through 19.

I'm still here and still planning on getting to this (and all the other projects I've got going on).
Thank you for all the help so far Mac.
